Mesh Topology with VRRP Static Routing (Not Supported)
VRRP Mesh would have a negative impact on network performance. This uplink topology is NOT recommended.
When the uplinks are set up in a mesh topology, there are 4 distinct Layer 3 uplinks to the ToR switches. In a Virtual Router Redundancy Protocol switch configuration, egress traffic is typically routed through the uplink with the primary/active role. Thus, a VRRP mesh configuration would reduce the egress bandwidth to only 25 percent of the actual capacity. Therefore, this configuration is considered not supported.
