Changes in Oracle Zero Data Loss Recovery Appliance Release 21.1

The following are changes in Oracle Zero Data Loss Recovery Appliance for ZDLRA release 21.1.

• The security of the Recovery Appliance was enhanced through:

  • The creation of the non-root admin_user accounts.
  • The creation of db_user accounts with one of three roles: admin, monitor, and VPC.
  • Restriction of rasys and sys access.
  • Restrictions placed on certain commands requiring a quorum to enable, such as limited rasys access.

• Support to enable TLS network encryption.

• This software release addresses US government regulation SEC 17a-4(f) regarding recovery window compliance and legal holds.

• New or updated commands for RACLI.
