10.2 Requirements for Converting Tape Configurations to Cloud

Verify these prerequisites before you run the racli convert tape_to_cloud command.

Table 10-1 Prerequisites for Tape to Cloud Conversion

Requirement	Description
Existing source SBT library for Oracle Secure Backup (OSB)	Ensure that the source SBT library for OSB exists and is accessible (for example, ROBOT0, ROBOT1), and the tape templates, configured for the SBT library, is in an active state.
Cloud key	Use the racli add cloud_key command to create a cloud key required for OCI access.
Cloud user	Create a cloud user using the racli add cloud_user command. Associate the cloud user with the cloud key.
Cloud storage location	Create an OCI Object Storage bucket. Add the bucket to Recovery Appliance using the racli add cloud_location command.
