Oracle Linux Virtualization Manager Metrics

Upon discovering an Oracle Linux Virtualization Manager, the following out-of-box metrics are available for Oracle Linux Virtualization Manager and its constituent components. You can navigate to the All Metrics page for a specific target type to view a complete list of metrics.

Metric classes for each target type are as follows:

Oracle Linux Virtualization Manager

  • Availability: Up/Down
  • Configuration Metrics

    • Configuration metrics are collected for individual Oracle Linux Virtualization Managers.

    • Configuration metrics are collected on demand or automatically every 24 hours. They are configurable from Enterprise Manager.

Datacenter Target

  • Availability: Up/Down

  • Performance Metrics

    • Performance metrics are collected every 5 minutes and are configurable from Enterprise Manager.

    • Different performance metrics like CPU and Memory utilization, Swap free and used memory which are aggregated over servers present in the datacenter.

  • Configuration Metrics

    • Configuration metrics are collected for individual datacenters .

    • Configuration metrics are collected on demand or automatically every 24 hours. They are configurable from Enterprise Manager.

    • Configuration metrics which show information about memory, disk, CPU etc.

Cluster Target

  • Availability: Up/Down
  • Performance Metrics

    • Performance metrics are collected every 5 minutes and are configurable from Enterprise Manager.

    • Different performance metrics like CPU and Memory utilization, Swap free and used memory which are aggregated over servers present in the cluster.

  • Configuration Metrics

    • Configuration metrics will be collected for individual clusters.

    • The configuration metrics will be collected on demand or automatically every 24 hours and is configurable from Enterprise Manager.

    • Configuration metrics which show cluster information such as memory, disk, and CPU.

Server Target

  • Response Metrics
    • Response Metrics of Server target
    • The response metric will be collected for each of the Server target.
  • Performance Metrics

    • Performance metrics are collected every 5 minutes and are configurable from Enterprise Manager.

    • Different performance metrics such as CPU and Memory utilization, Swap free and used memory.

  • Configuration Metrics

    • Configuration metrics will be collected for individual Server nodes .

    • Configuration metrics are collected on demand or automatically every 24 hours. They are configurable from Enterprise Manager.

    • Configuration metrics which show information about server configuration parameters such as memory, disk, or CPU.

Guest VM Target

  • Response Metrics
    • Response Metrics of the Guest VM target.
    • The response metric will be collected for each of the Guest VM target.
  • Performance Metrics

    • Performance metrics are collected every 5 minutes and are configurable from Enterprise Manager.

    • Different performance metrics like Load, Disk Statistics and Network Statistics based on what kind of information is provided by oVirt.

  • Configuration Metrics

    • Configuration metrics will be collected for individual Guest VMs.

    • Configuration metrics are collected on demand or automatically every 24 hours They are configurable from Enterprise Manager.

    • Different configuration metrics such as Platform Version, Network Adapters information based on what kind of information is provided by oVirt.
