Failed to create volume 'string' in diskgroup 'string'.
Cause
The volume was unable to be created in the diskgroup. Possible Causes:
- ASM is not running.
- User is not part of the ASMADMIN group.
- An ASM specific error occurred.
Action
- Verify that ASM is running ('srvctl status asm')
- Verify that the user is part of the ASMADMIN group.
- Check the ASM logs and output for an ASM specific error.
