Failed to connect using 'string'.
Cause
DGMGRL could not connect to the member using the specified connect identifier. This could have happened due to incorrect credentials, listener not running, incorrect listener address or service name in the connect identifier, TNS_ADMIN environment variable not defined or defined incorrectly, the remote member not available, etc.
Action
Check the output displayed for the VALIDATE DGConnectIdentifier command for any errors, confirm that the proper credentials were specified and then retry the command.
