Database Error Messages

An attempt was made to parse an unsupported statement by using the PARSE procedure provided by DBMS_SQL package.

Change the statement to be parsed to a supported type. Supported statements begin with SELECT, DELETE, INSERT, UPDATE, LOCK, BEGIN, DECLARE, or << (PL/SQL label delimiter). Also, re-parsing the cursor with container switch is only supported from a non-recursive PARSE call.
