Database Error Messages

The remote archival of redo log files was disabled for this database. The associated archive log destination had been disabled. An archive log destination parameter had specified a remote destination with the SERVICE keyword.

Perform one of the following actions to correct the issue:

• Change the archive log parameter to specify a local destination with the LOCATION keyword, if appropriate
• Set the REMOTE_ARCHIVE_ENABLE parameter to TRUE, if appropriate
• Enable the SEND attribute of the LOG_ARCHIVE_CONFIG parameter

After performing one of these actions, restart the database instance before further attempts are made to archive redo log files.
