removal of a pattern from string not allowed
Cause
An existing pattern could not be removed from the named initialization parameter because it was being used to map from the primary file name to the standby file name.
Action
New patterns can be added to the end of the existing set of patterns, or the setting can be reset in the SPFILE and the database restarted.
