Oracle ASM or Exascale file asm_file cannot be proxy backed up.
- asm_file: The specified Oracle ASM or Exascale file to backup with RMAN.
Cause
An attempt is being made to proxy backup an Oracle Automatic Storage Management (Oracle ASM) or Exascale file. This is not supported.
Action
Use a different file name and reissue the Recovery Manager (RMAN) command.
