Cause
The clone mounted control file could not be used to recover the database because the names of the data files and online logs were not fixed using the Recovery Manager (RMAN) operation. This could result in the loss of original database files.
Action
Manually delete the files restored from the previous Recovery Manager (RMAN) operation by looking at the mounted control file and Recovery Manager (RMAN) output to clean up the partially incomplete operation. When deleting the files, be cautious to not delete production database files because some files in the control file may be pointing to those files.
