Multiple aggregation paths were detected for one or more low-level hierarchy elements. This could cause such elements to be counted // more than once in the elements to which they aggregate.

The danger is that the value of the low level hierarchy element will have its value counted multiple times (once per path) in the total of the aggregate element.
