HARDCHECK error during I/O
Cause
A Hardware Assisted Resilient Data (HARD) check error was encountered by ASM Rebalance (ARB) process during I/O operations; Oracle ASM cannot disable HARD check automatically due to offline disks.
Action
Look for the corresponding ORA-59051 error in the alert log that shows the file number that has HARD check error. Evaluate if those files were unused or abandoned. If unused or abandoned, delete them. Bring all disks in the disk group online to allow Oracle ASM to disable HARD check automatically so that ARB process will not be interrupted.
