Cause
The install failed because of a kernel module incompatibility. The installed kernel does not include 'retpoline' support.
Action
Ensure that your system is running the latest kernel update from your OS vendor, including appropriate Spectre V2 mitigation with retpoline support. For more information, refer to your OS vendor's documentation for Spectre V2 mitigation.
