Database Error Messages

Either the ROWID specified had an invalid format, or one or more of the components of the ROWID did not exist.

The following corrective actions may be taken:

1. Refer to DBMS_ROWID package for creation of ROWID that uses the correct format.
2. Verify that the components of the ROWID exist.

A ROWID was entered incorrectly. ROWIDs must be entered as formatted hexadecimal strings using only numbers and the characters A through F. A typical ROWID format is '000001F8.0001.0006'.

Check the format, then enter the ROWID using the correct format. ROWID format: block ID, row in block, file ID.
