ORA-12262
Cannot connect to database. Could not resolve hostname string in Easy Connect connection string string
Cause
A connection to a database or other service was requested using a hostname or Easy Connect connection string but the hostname is invalid and could not be resolved.
Action
- Check for mistakes in the connection string that you used.
- Make sure the hostname specified is correct.
- Try enclosing the connect identifier in quote marks.
