Database Error Messages

The Oracle Data Guard broker configuration already contained the maximum number of members that could be configured and managed by the broker.

Select and remove an existing member from the broker configuration, then reissue the command to add another member to the configuration. The maximum number of members permitted in a broker configuration is 253.

Note that when COMPATIBLE is set lower than 11.2.0.0.0, the broker can configure and manage up to 10 databases. When COMPATIBLE is set to 11.2.0.0.0 but less than 12.0.0.0.0, this limit is increased to 31. When COMPATIBLE is set to 12.0.0.0.0 or higher, this limit is increased to 254.
