Database Error Messages

The broker failed to execute an ALTER SYSTEM or ALTER DATABASE statement when it attempted to set the ApplyInstances, ApplyParallel, or DelayMins configurable property.

Check the Oracle Data Guard broker log file to see which property could not be set, and retry the statement again using a valid property value.

This situation occurred when the broker attempted to set member configurable property values into the member by issuing ALTER SYSTEM or ALTER DATABASE commands. Typical causes of this error are:

• The values of redo transport-related properties contain syntax syntax errors.
• The value of the LogArchiveTrace property was out of range.
