Database Error Messages

The observer specified to become the master observer could not be selected because it was not included in the list of observers specified for the PreferredObserverHosts configurable property of the primary database.

Check the value specified for the PreferredObserverHosts configurable property of the primary database. Then, reissue the DGMGRL SET MASTEROBSERVERHOST TO command and select one of the observers specified in the list.

The observer was not available to become the master observer.

Check if the observer's host was specified in the PreferredObserverHosts property of the primary database.
