Cause
An attempt was made to use a synonym to point to an object that no longer exists where the synonym had the same name as the base object, or an attempt was made to use a synonym that has a circular path that points back to itself.
Action
Make sure that the last synonym in the synonym path points to an object that exists, and that it doesn't point back to itself.
