This section introduces the documentation updates for Release 23.4.x.

Release 23.4.0- F86967-01, December 2023

• Updated the release number to 23.4.0 in the entire document.
• Updated version of multiple docker images in "Images for NSSF" section in Table 2-11.
• Added CNC Console Requirements details.
• Added Resource Requirements details for CNC Console Resources, cnDBTier Resources, and OSO Resources.
• Updated Supported Upgrade Paths in Table 4-1.
• Updated Supported Rollback Paths in Table 5-1.
• Updated versions of multiple software and environment setup requirements in Prerequisites section.
• Updated Deploying NSSF with Service Mesh section to include the revised port numbers for the parameter traffic.sidecar.istio.io/excludeInboundPorts essential for enabling cluster formation in ASM-based deployments for coherence.
• Removed ocnssf-custom-configtemplates-23_X_X_X_X folder from the list of files and folders inside NSSF Package in Pushing the Images to Customer Docker Registry section.
• Updated the following Helm parameters in Global Parameters section:
  • Added nssfLciEnabled to support LCI and OCI Headers.
  • Added nssfOciEnabled to support LCI and OCI Headers.
  • Removed global.alternateRouteServiceEnable parameter as it is removed from the ocnssf_custom_values_23.4.0.yaml file.

• Updated the Preupgrade Tasks section to include steps for manually upgrading ASM chart before upgrading NSSF.
