5 Observability

This chapter lists the observability changes in release 24.1.x.

5.1 Metrics

This section lists the added or updated metrics in release 24.1.x. For more information about metrics, see Metrics section in Oracle Communications Cloud Native Core, Binding Support Function User Guide.

Release 24.1.0

The following metrics are added in release 24.1.0:

• Added oc_certificatemanagement_tls_certificate_info metric for Automated Certificate Lifecycle Management.
• Added ocbsf_diam_realm_validation_failed_total metric to Diameter Gateway Metrics to support Validating Destination-Realm Received in AAR-I Message feature.

Release 24.1.0

The following alerts are added in release 24.1.0:

• The following alerts are added for Diameter Session Retry feature:
  • DIAM_RESPONSE_REALM_VALIDATION_ERROR_CRITICAL
  • DIAM_RESPONSE_REALM_VALIDATION_ERROR_MAJOR
  • DIAM_RESPONSE_REALM_VALIDATION_ERROR_MINOR

MIB files when upgrading from 24.1.0 or higher

The following MIB file has been changed:

• bsf_alarm_mib.mib file has been replaced with BSF-ALARM-MIB.mib file.
