5 Observability

This chapter lists the observability changes in release 24.2.x.

5.1 Metrics

This section lists the added or updated metrics in release 24.2.x. For more information about metrics, see Oracle Communications Cloud Native Core, Network Exposure Function User Guide.

Note:

If any specific KPI is required, create the KPI on grafana dashboard as per requirement from this metrics mentioned in the Oracle Communications Cloud Native Core, Network Exposure Function User Guide.

The following updates were made in the "Metrics" section of Oracle Communications Cloud Native Core, Network Exposure Function User Guide.

Updated metric names as below in the "API Router Metrics" section:
- ocnef.aef.apirouter.latency to ocnef_aef_apirouter_latency_seconds
- ocnef.aef.apirouter.backend.connection.failure to ocnef_aef_apirouter_backend_connection_failure_total
- ocnef.aef.apirouter.backend.request.stat to ocnef_aef_apirouter_backend_jetty_request_stat_total
- ocnef.aef.apirouter.backend.response.stat to ocnef_aef_apirouter_backend_jetty_response_stat_total
- ocnef.aef.apirouter.backend.latency.seconds to ocnef_aef_apirouter_backend_latency_seconds

Updated the metric dimensions in the "Egress Gateway Metrics" section.
Updated metric names as below in the "QoS Service Metrics" section:
- ocnef_qos_af_resp to ocnef_qos_af_resp_total
- ocnef_qos_5g_resp to ocnef_qos_5g_resp_total
- ocnef_qos_af_latency to ocnef_qos_af_latency_seconds
- ocnef_qos_5g_latency to ocnef_qos_5g_latency_seconds
Updated metric names as below in the Egress Gateway Metrics section:
