Maintenance Procedures

• Added a table that explains the behaviour of autoCreateResources parameter configuration in different scenarios. For more information, see the LCM based Automation section.
• Updated the Removing cnDBTier Cluster 1 section to specify which site should be used as the source when using the dbtremovesite script.

Feature Updates

• New Features:
  • Creating ServiceAccount Using Helm Charts

    Added the LCM based Automation section that explains how to enable automated ServiceAccount creation in the custom_value.yaml file.

  • Support for Dual Stack

    Added the Support for Dual Stack section that explains how to migrate cnDBTier from Single Stack to Dual Stack mode.

cnDBTier APIs for CNC Console

• Added details about the http://base-uri/ocdbtier/backup/status API in the cnDBTier APIs for CNC Console section.

Generic Updates

• As part of implementing inclusive language terminologies and removing the restricted terms, the following Metrics and Alert names were modified:
  • The metric name db_tier_replication_slave_delay is changed to db_tier_replication_replica_delay.
  • The alert name SLAVE_REPLICATION_DELAY_HIGH is changed to REPLICA_REPLICATION_DELAY_HIGH.
  • The alert name SLAVE_REPLICATION_FAILED is changed to REPLICA_REPLICATION_FAILED.

Maintenance Procedure

• Added a step in the section Starting or Stopping cnDBTier Georeplication Service that explains how to start or stop the replication service switchover in cnDBTier with respect to the siteName.
