Release 25.2.200 - G48316-01, March 2026
General Updates
- Updated the release number to 25.2.200 in the entire document.
- Updated the Oracle Linux (OL9) Kernel version from UEKR8 to UEKR9 in the Configuring YUM Repository section.
- Updated error correction policy details for 25.2.200 in the Oracle Error Correction Policy section.
Installation Updates
- Added the Performance Considerations section that explains how to enable virtio networking multiqueue on OpenStack compute nodes and configure the appropriate flavor properties to improve CNLB node traffic performance.
- Updated the Common Installation Configuration section to add a procedure for updating the SSHD ListenAddress configuration.
- Added the Configuring SSHD ListenAddress section that describes the procedure for updating the SSHD ListenAddress configuration.
- Updated the Verifying LBVM Enabled Cluster section to add a procedure to verify Jaeger web interface is accessible or not.
- Updated the Configuring Cloud Native Load Balancer (CNLB) section to add a procedure to scale up or down the replicas.
Upgrade Updates
- Updated the supported upgrade path in the Supported Upgrade Paths section.
- Added the Renewing Kubernetes Certificate section that provides information on when to manually renew the Kubernetes certificates.
- Added the Removing Stale Network Resources section that provides information on how to delete
shared_internalenabled networks which is performed only on anCNLB_SINenabled OpenStack cluster.
Configuration Updates
- Added the CNLB Deployment Strategies section that explains the following functionalities:
- Support for Heterogeneous Nodes:
This feature is only available for the vCNE platform in this release. CNE now provides an option to create a cluster with different OpenStack flavors, with a maximum of three flavors per cluster: small, medium, and large.
- Dedicated CNLB Nodes:
This feature is available for CNLB-enabled clusters. In this release, CNE introduces the ability to create nodes dedicated exclusively to running CNLB workloads.
- Support for Heterogeneous Nodes:
- Added the "Managing Conntrack feature" subsection in the Configuring Cloud Native Load Balancer (CNLB) section that explains how to enable or disable conntrack feature.
- Added the following sections to support Egress and Ingress bypass (OpenStack only) functionalities:
- Added the NSX Distributed Firewall Configuration for Floating VIP Stateless Bypass Using Conntrack section that provides information on configuration and management of NSX Distributed Firewall (DFW) policies in VMware environments where the conntrack feature is enabled.
