This section introduces the documentation updates for release 25.2.2xx.

Release 25.2.201 - G48314-02, April 2026

• Deployment Updates

  Added a reference to CNLB deployment strategies section which is for vCNE and BareMetal platforms, including heterogeneous and dedicated node approaches in the Deployment Models section.

  Updated the required virtual machine list to include a minimum of two CNLB nodes in the Virtualized Deployment section.

• Maintenance Procedures

  CNE provides a new CNLB binary utility, CNLBCTL which can be downloaded and installed on a Bastion Host. For more information, see the Using CNLB Command Line Utility section.

  • Added the section Enabling Public Endpoint for CNE (Kubernetes) API Server that provides an overview of the implementation for exposing the Kubernetes API Server as a public endpoint.
  • Modified the section Updating CNLB Network Attachments to:
    • Include BareMetal support
    • Added the Common Issues and Solutions section that provides steps to resolve common errors encountered when running the network update procedure.

  • Updated the section CNE Metrics to add Mpstat and Network Metrics.
