This section introduces the documentation updates for release 25.2.2xx.

Release 25.2.201- G45387-03, April 2026

General Updates

• Updated the release version to 25.2.201 in the entire document.

Installation Updates

• Added a note for high resource profile requirements for Alertmanager with APM service to handle alert burst traffic in the Resource Utilization section.
• Removed the commands related to sed from Automated Configuration of NF Alerts as it is no longer supported.
• Updated the Alert Processing Microservice Configuration Parameters section for the following:
  • Modified the parameter name from global_oso.serviceAccountNameAPM to global_oso.serviceAccountName.
  • Added the following TLS parameters:
    • apmTLS.enable
    • apmTLS.caSecret
    • apmTLS.serverSecret
    • apmTLS.autoReloadTLS.enable
    • apmTLS.autoReloadTLS.certificateMonitorTimer
• Updated the Configuration of Alert Processing Microservice (APM) with the following:
  • Added a step to create Kubernetes secret(s) for APM TLS mode.
  • Added a step for updating certificates in APM.
  • Added a step for updating Kafka certificates in Kubernetes secret.
  • Added a step for using TLS mode of APM.
  • Removed the /readyz health endpoints from the APM service as APM doesn't recover when Kafka restarts.

Upgrade and Rollback Updates

• Updated the upgrade paths in the Supported Upgrade Paths section.
• Updated the rollback paths in the Supported Rollback Paths section.
• Updated the current release and the previous release versions in the following sections:
  • Prerequisites
  • Rollback Tasks

• Added the Configuration of Alert Processing Microservice (APM) section with the procedure for installing and configuring the Alert Processing Microservice feature.
• Added the Alert Processing Microservice Configuration Parameters section to include the configuration parameters for APM service.
• Added all the parameters in the custom_values.yaml in the following sections:
  • Prometheus Configuration Parameters
  • Alertmanager Configuration Parameters
  • Alert Config Configuration Parameters

Upgrade and Rollback Updates

• Updated the upgrade paths in the Supported Upgrade Paths section.
• Updated the current release and the previous release versions in the following sections:
  • Prerequisites
  • Rollback Tasks
• Added a note to clarify that OSO pods do not automatically restart when configmap changes are made during an upgrade, and providing manual steps to ensure the pods retrieve the latest data in the Upgrading OSO section.
• Enhanced the existing note with a cause for the service interruption in the Upgrading OSO section .
• Updated the rollback paths in the Supported Rollback Paths section.
• Updated the Rollback Tasks section with a step to detach the PVC from old Prometheus pod and attach to the new Prometheus pod.
• Added a command to check the installed Helm charts in Rollback Tasks section.

Uninstall Updates

Added the procedure for uninstalling OSO resources in the Uninstalling OSO section.
