Installation Updates

Upgrade Updates

Added environment variable character restrictions to the Environment Variable Character Restrictions for Upgrade section.

Configuration Updates

• Added the Configure Multi-Availability Zone Node Placement for vCNE CNLB on OpenStack section, that explains how to configure CNLB cluster nodes across one or more OpenStack compute availability zones.

• On VMware platforms, CNE supports ipvlan only for CNLB external network interfaces. For configuration details, see the VMware section of the Configuring Cloud Native Load Balancer (CNLB) section.

• Updated the ext_net_attach_def_plugin value to macvlan in the Configuring Cloud Native Load Balancer (CNLB).

General Updates

• Updated the release number to 26.1.200 in the entire document.
• Updated error correction policy details for 26.1.200 in the Oracle Error Correction Policy section.

Installation Updates

• Updated the Generating Root CA Certificate section to add a note that Istio and cert-manager are deprecated and are no longer supported and will be uninstalled by default as part of the upgrade process.
• Updated the Configuring PIP Repository section to add a note that all the CNE packages are provided in the CNE delivery archive occne_python_binaries_${OCCNE_VERSION}.tgz and no packages need to be pulled from external sources.

Configuration Updates

• Added CNLB bypass configuration details for BareMetal deployments. For more information, see Configuring CNLB Bypass for BareMetal Deployments.
