This section introduces the documentation updates for release 26.1.2xx.

Release 26.1.201- G56127-03, August 2026

General Updates

• Updated the min and max CPU/Pod values for the db-replication-svc (leader) service from 2 to 8 in the cnDBTier Services section.
• Updated the min and max CPU/Pod values from 0.2 to 0.5 and min and max Memory/Pod values from 0.25 to 0.5 for the db-infra-monitor-svc sidecar in the cnDBTier Sidecars section.

General Updates

• Updated the Table 1-1 table with the release information in the Oracle Error Correction Policy section.
• Updated the release number to 26.1.201 throughout the document.
• Updated the preinstalled and additional software versions in the Software Requirements section.
• Updated the image tag details in the following sections:
  • Pushing the Images to Customer Docker Registry
  • Pushing the NRF Images to OCI Docker Registry
• Updated the CPU and Memory resource requirements for Discovery and Cache Data microservices in the NRF Services section.
• Added the <helm-release-name>-common-configuration-global-pre-install hook in the NRF Hooks section.
• Added the CPU and memory request and limit requirements for the common-configuration-global container in the Common Services Container section.
• Updated the database script file names in the document for Single Site and Multisite sections.

Installation Updates

• Added the endpointslices access permission in the ocnrf-resource-template.yaml file in the Creating Service Account, Role, and RoleBinding section.
• Updated the versions for the following appValidate parameters in the Global Parameters section:

  • global.appValidate.minKubernetesVersion to 1.34.2

• Added the following parameters in the Global Parameters section:

  • ingress-gateway.tlsVersionSupportForKubeApiServer.enabled as it is required to specify the TLS version in ingress-gateway.serviceDiscovery.kubeApiServerTlsVersion.
  • ingress-gateway.tlsVersionSupportForKubeApiServer.kubeApiServerTlsVersion is replaced by ingress-gateway.serviceDiscovery.kubeApiServerTlsVersion.
  • ingress-gateway.tlsVersionSupportForKubeApiServer.cipherSuites is replaced by ingress-gateway.serviceDiscovery.cipherSuites.
  • ingress-gateway.ports.containerIntraNFCommPort as it is not configurable by operators..

  • egress-gateway.tlsVersionSupportForKubeApiServer.enabled as it is required to specify the TLS version in egress-gateway.serviceDiscovery.kubeApiServerTlsVersion.
  • egress-gateway.tlsVersionSupportForKubeApiServer.kubeApiServerTlsVersion is replaced by egress-gateway.serviceDiscovery.kubeApiServerTlsVersion.
  • egress-gateway.tlsVersionSupportForKubeApiServer.cipherSuites is replaced by egress-gateway.serviceDiscovery.cipherSuites.
  • egress-gateway.intraNfServiceMesh is not configurable by operators.
  • egress-gateway.isIpv6Enabled is not configurable by operators.
• Updated the typo in the parameter name from publicHttpsSignallingPort to publicHttpsSignalingPort in the Ingress Gateway Global Parameters section.
• Modified the values of the following parameters from 4Gi to 6Gi in the NRF Cache Data Microservice (nrfcachedata) section:
  • nrfcachedata.resources.limits.memory
  • nrfcachedata.resources.requests.memory
• Modified the values of the following parameters from 4 to 6 in the NRF Cache Data Microservice (nrfcachedata) section:
  • nrfcachedata.resources.limits.cpu
  • nrfcachedata.resources.requests.cpu
• Removed the restoreBackupOnInstall parameter from the App Info Microservice (appinfo) and Perf Info Microservice (perf-info) sections as they are not configurable by operators.
• Updated the unit for the logStorage, crictlStorage, and ephemeralStorageLimit parameters from MB to Mi in the following sections:

• Updated the default value of ingress-gateway.maxReplicas from 36 to 29 in the Ingress Gateway Microservice section.
• Updated the default value of egress-gateway.maxReplicas from 36 to 28 in the Egress Gateway Microservice section.
• Updated the default value of nfdiscovery.maxReplicas from 51 to 47 in the NF Discovery Microservice (nfdiscovery) section.

Upgrade, Rollback, and Uninstall Updates

• Updated the upgrade paths in the Supported Upgrade Paths section.
• Added a command to grant privileged user permission to the mysql.ndb_replication table in the Upgrade Tasks section.
• Updated the rollback paths in the Supported Rollback Paths section.
• Added an optional step to be performed with the manual cleanup steps for mysql.ndb_replication table entries, including SQL cleanup commands and DBTier pod restart procedures, in the Rollback Tasks section.

Fault Recovery Updates

There are no changes made for this section in this release.
