Preface

This guide contains the procedures and information system administrators need to install Oracle Communications Design Studio.

To install and use Design Studio, system administrators must also install third-party software packages. Refer to the documentation distributed with the third-party packages for installation instructions.

Audience

This guide is intended for system administrators who use the preconfigured installation in the Design Studio software package to install the Design Studio feature, create a distributable archive file, and instruct individual users within an organization how to download and extract that preconfigured installation. Preconfigured installations simplify installation for individual users, reduce download times, and ensure correct installation.
