You can now use PSR Designer TMF Open REST APIs to do the following:
  • View, create, update, and delete resources. This API is compliant with the TMF 634 Resource Catalog Management API.
  • Integrate Design Studio with third-party systems, such as Assurance, External Inventory, SD-WAN, Controllers, using TMF 634 Resource Catalog Management API.
REST API for Oracle Communications Design Studio PSR Designer
PSR Designer now supports Kubernetes version 1.23.7. Prerequisite Software
You can now organize your commercial domain, service domain, and technical domain in PSR Dictionary Package application. The PSR Dictionary Package application displays the associated domains and the characteristics of the entities in the associated domains. The package name that you enter in the PSR Dictionary Package in PSR Designer can be used as the custom name for the data dictionary of the imported cartridge in Design Studio.  
You can now use PSR Designer to reject an initiative in Study, Design, and Test stages in the initiative lifecycle.  
In PSR Designer, you can define a PSR model that is aligned with TMF ODA IG1228. You can assign multiple resources to a customer facing service (CFS) directly. You can import these relationships in Design Studio and realize them.  
Enhanced PSR Designer UI:
  • Enhanced User Experience with Redwood based UI.
  • New Initiative Transition History is added in the Initiative Details page in the Initiative Manager application.
  • The entity details are displayed in a single page.
  • New floating Pane is added on the right side of the page for creating domains, entities, components, characteristics, features, diagrams, dictionary packages, and initiatives.
  • New Actions group is added in the header section in the PSR Modeler and PSR Administrator applications.
  • Improved Search using filter chips.
  • New Action column is added for Edit and Delete icons.

In PSR Modeler, you can import a product specification from an external system. A new command, Import Catalog, now appears at the top right of the PSR Modeler landing page. In PSR Modeler, an error icon appears above an entity in a diagram if the entity's name doesn't follow Design Studio rules. Names can have numbers, letters, and underscores, but no other special characters. Rules for naming entities
