4.223 dlt-ip-host
Use this command to delete entries from the IP Host table. The IP Host table defines the local and remote host names and their associated IP addresses.
Parameters
Example
dlt-ip-host:host=gw100.nc.tekelec.com
Dependencies
A valid value must be specified for the host parameter. If the value contains a hyphen, then the host name must be enclosed within quotation marks.
The value specified for the host parameter must already exist in the IP Host table.
Before a local entry can be deleted from the IP Host table, all association references to the hostname must be deleted. This rule is also applied for remote host entries associated with diameter adapter.
Before deleting IP Host table entry, all connection references to the hostname are checked in the IPCONN table. IPCONN table must be accessible.
The IP host entry to be deleted is still referenced by a connection.
Notes
It is possible to remove/delete a remote host while the association is an in-service state without tearing down the corresponding association. If that association goes down in the future and a new SCTP-init is received, this change (delete of the remote host) will prevent the association from connecting.
Output
