Upload a File

Use the following procedure upload a file to the Oracle Enterprise Communications Broker (OECB).

You can upload any of the following file types from your local server or PC to the OECB:

  • Backup configuration
  • Configuration CSV
  • Local subscriber table (LST)
  • Software image
  • SPL Plug-in (SPL)

Note:

You cannot upload Log or Audit Log files.

You can dynamically activate the “Local route table” and “SPL Plug-in”during the upload process, if required. You can also immediately restore a backup configuration file after an upload is complete.

  1. Access the File Management page. Click System, File Management.
  2. On the File Management page, select the type of file that you want to upload to the OECB from the File type drop-down list,.
    The system lists all instances of the selected file type.
  3. In the Name column, select the check box by the name of file that you want to upload.
  4. Click Upload.
    The system displays the upload dialog that corresponds to the file type that you selected, which may include additional operations that you can direct the system to perform after the upload.
  5. In the Upload file dialog, enter the file name and extension or browse to the file.

    Note:

    The file extension must be applicable to the file type you select.
  6. Click Upload.

    If the file exists, the system prompts you to confirm that you want to replace the current file.

  7. Click Yes.
