ECP Data Bridge Storage and Session Information

Review local storage use, the signed-in account, and the remaining ECP Data Bridge session time.

The ECP Data Bridge local UI displays information about the storage available to the application and the current local UI session.

Storage information

The storage snapshot displays the following information:

Information Description

Total

The total local storage allocated to ECP Data Bridge.

Used

The amount of local storage currently used.

Free

The amount of local storage that remains available.

The storage information is refreshed every minute.

The displayed storage is shared by:

  • Files downloaded from configured sources.

  • Files copied to the ECP Data Bridge SMB share.

Adding or deleting files through the SMB share changes the displayed storage use because the SMB share exposes the same local storage used for file transfers.

When storage use reaches the warning threshold, ECP Data Bridge displays a banner indicating that files should be removed to prevent transfer failures. Before starting a transfer, ECP Data Bridge also checks whether sufficient local storage is available for the selected folder. The transfer does not start when the available storage is insufficient.

Session information

The local UI displays the account used to sign in and the remaining session time.

The default session duration is eight hours. Closing the browser tab does not end an active session. Reopening ECP Data Bridge before the session expires restores access to the existing session.

When the session expires:

  • Protected information and actions in the local UI are no longer available.

  • Sign in again to continue using the local UI.

  • Downloads and uploads already running continue in the background.

Use Sign Out to end the current session. Signing out invalidates the session in any other browser tabs that use the same session.
