Limitations

The following information describes operational limitations of Oracle Enterprise Communications Platform. Limitations explains the facts of functional or operational boundaries. Limitations do not include workarounds. Check this document periodically to stay informed of updates and other new information.

The following Limitations are present in the current release. If addressed, they will be removed from this section.

Location Based Services

  • Devices located at extreme geographic boundary coordinates, such as latitude 90 or -90 and longitude 180 or -180, may not appear correctly in the Device Inventory map view. In these cases, the map polygon tool may not let you draw far enough to include those devices, even though the device location can still be set or adjusted from the item overview location editor.

Workaround: Do not rely on the Device Inventory map view to locate or select devices that use these boundary coordinate values. Instead, find the device through the inventory list or search, then open the item overview to review or update the location directly. For operational tasks involving these devices, use list-based inventory filtering and the device details page instead of map polygon selection.

Decommissioned devices still show up in the Request page with 0 counts

Decommissioned devices and their request will continue to show up on the Onboarding Request page, but all the counts will show up as 0.
