Session Manager Mapping

The Enterprise SBC supports mapping between multiple session managers and multiple Enterprise SBCs. Such mapping allows the Enterprise SBC to work in a redundant network configuration where you can map:
  • The primary session manager to the primary Enterprise SBC IP address
  • One or more redundant session managers to one or more redundant Enterprise SBCs

To map a redundant session manager to a redundant Enterprise SBC, map the private IP address of the redundant session manager to the public SIP IP address configured in public subelement of the http-alg element.

If the Enterprise SBC is behind a NAT, you can use the nat-address parameter in the public-interface parameter of your session-manager-mapping subelement. If you have not configured this parameter, Enterprise SBC can fall back to the nat-ip-address parameter of the http-alg-public sub-element.
