SPLs for KDDI Trunk Support

When required by your service provider, configure the following spl-options in the sip-interface facing the KDDI trunk:

  • Control-Surr-Reg

When configured, this SPL triggers the following functions by the ESBC:

  • Sends the IP address of the egress sip-interface in the host part of the Call-ID within SIP INVITE requests to KDDI.
  • Removes the string “sbc” from the host part of the Call-ID while sending out de-REGISTER requests, and adds the egress sip-interface IP address to the host part of the call-id.
  • Sends two de-REGISTERs messages with at least a 1 second interval for the same AOR. The ESBC continues to do this if you reboot it.

Prior to the availability of this pre-loaded SPL, you could configure the same functions after uploading the following external SPLs:

  • numberlua.1.1
  • SurrogateContact.0.3
If you are on a release prior to SCz840, load and enable these SPLs using the procedure in Loading and Enabling the SPL.
