Base Licenses
Oracle Enterprise Session Router, Session Stateful (capacity) - Network-Wide Concurrent Session Perpetual
Product Editions and Permitted Features
Determines the maximum number of SIP sessions allowed by Oracle Enterprise Session Router.
This license provides access to operating system and basic node management functions such as CLI, FTP and SNMP. The following features are available with the base license.
- Accounting - Allows the creation of call accounting records using either Radius or Diameter (via the Rf interface), or by collecting the information in flat files that can be stored locally or pushed via FTP to an external server.
- ACP - Allows Oracle Communications Session Router system to respond to external ACP requests (required for Oracle Communications Delivery Management Suite).
- Admin Security - Enables increased administrative security capabilities of the system for password strength, password usage policies, user roles, and management of administrative users.
- HA - Enables sending and receiving HA heartbeat and check-pointing messages to an HA Peer and take over or relinquish Active status. Allows configuration of the redundancy configuration object.
- IDS - Allows configuration of traps sent when endpoints are demoted to denied status. Allows configuration of syslog messages to be recorded when endpoints are demoted to denied status. Enables dynamic demotion of endpoints based upon CAC (call admission control) failures.
- IDS Advanced - This feature adds the ability to track total number of rejected SIP calls system-wide.
- IPFIX interface - The IPFIX custom interface on the SBC allows for monitoring packet level data. This interface is restricted to be used on the Oracle Communications monitoring products.
- Load Balancing - Allows configuration and use of Session Agent Groups in order to perform sophisticated load balancing of traffic across core network elements.
- REST API for 3rd Party Use - Allows automated management of the application from 3rd party (i.e. non Oracle) applications and services.
- Routing - Enables configuration and use of routing (local policy) parameters for signaling protocols supported. This feature group includes access to configuration elements such as cost, start and end times, days of week, media profiles, and carrier elements:
- ENUM Database support
- LRT (local route table)
- SIP - Respond to/forward SIP signaling messages and set up SIP sessions based on the system configuration. Allows configuration of SIP-related configuration objects.
- TLS (Transport Layer Security) - This feature enables cryptographic security for the SIP protocol.
- Exceptions: Not applicable to VNF. Requires separate TLS license.
Notes
- Enterprise Session Router is licensed in either in Concurrent Session or Message per Second metrics but cannot operate in both modes simultaneously.
- Concurrent Session must strictly be used when Enterprise Session Router is operating in either dialog or session modes.

Product Editions and Permitted Features
Determines the maximum number of incoming and outgoing SIP messages that are processed per second by Oracle Enterprise Session Router.
This license provides access to operating system and basic node management functions such as CLI, FTP and SNMP. The following features are available with the base license:
