Enable Operational Reporting

Use this topic to understand how to enable operational reporting for initiatives and product offerings.

Launch Cloud Service has built in sample dashboards and reports for two entities - initiatives and product offerings.

Here are reports available in the dashboard:

• Initiatives by statuses
• Total number of initiatives
• Offers by statuses and types
• Offers reaching end of life
• Offer usage
• Offers to be published
• Total number of offers

These dashboards and reports are hidden by default. Here's how you can enable these reports:

1. Log in to Launch UI as an admin user.
2. Click Navigator, expand Tools section, and then select Security Console.
3. Create a new role with the following details:
   • Role Name: Launch Analytics Access
   • Role Code: LAUNCH_ANALYTICS_ACCESS
   • Role Category: CRM - Job Roles
4. Under the Function Security Policies, add the following two policies:
   • View Analytics Dashboard
   • View Analytics Tab
5. Proceed with the role creation and assign this role to the user who needs access to the dashboard reports from the Launch UI.
6. Once assigned, perform the steps mentioned in Synchronize Roles and Privileges.
