What's New in This Guide

This section introduces the documentation updates for Release 25.2.2xx in Oracle Communications Network Analytics Data Director Diameter User Guide.

Release 25.2.201 - G48765-02, July 2026

  • Updated details of "Message Sequencing" in the Overview section.
  • Added the following new features in the Features List chapter:

  • vCollector Configuration

    • New guidance was added for the default vCollector topic.
    • Default Helm-configured vCollector topicName is now documented as:
      • VCOLLECTOR-DIAMETER
    • New instructions were added for using a different topicName:
      • Update OCNADD_DIAMAGGREGATION_SERVICE_SOURCE_TOPIC.
      • Create a vCollector topic corresponding to the configured topic name for the relay agent group.

  • User Interface

    • Added UI-based VCollector Feed management.
    • Includes updating a VCollector Feed:
      • Interfaces and filter values can be added, removed, or updated.
      • Duplicate IP Packet Suppression, SCTP Dechunking, and TCP Flow Management settings can be updated.
      • Kafka configuration details can be edited.
      • Kafka configurations can be added or removed.
    • Includes deleting a VCollector Feed:
      • Delete action is available from the VCollector Feed panel.
      • Deleted feed details cannot be recovered.

  • Feature Specific Limits

    • Added limits:
      • Maximum Diameter Export configurations supported: 3
      • Maximum export conditions in one export filter configuration row: 4
      • Maximum values allowed for one export filter condition attribute: 20

  • Metrics, KPIs, Alerts, and Alarms, Prometheus Service Alerts

    • New Prometheus service alerts were added.
    • Added alert for Diameter Storage Adapter:
      • Alert: OCNADD_DIAMETER_STORAGEADAPTER_SVC_DOWN
      • OID: 1.3.6.1.4.1.323.5.3.53.1.49.2002
      • Description: Diameter Storage Adapter service not available.
    • Added alert for Diameter Export:
