5 USB Installation on Physical Appliances

Oracle supports USB installation of the OS and SD-WAN software from a USB drive. This is supported on the following platforms:

• E50
• E100
• D2000
• D6000

The hard drive on these servers are first in the boot order by default. The installation process makes the USB drive first in the boot order to start the installation process. The hard drive will be restored to being first in the boot order upon completion of the installation process.
