The Order and Service Management (OSM) Order-to-Activate (O2A) Cartridges are compatible with specific versions of OSM and Oracle Application Integration Architecture for Communications (AIA Comms). Use the information in this document to determine which OSM and AIA Comms releases are compatible with your O2A release.

* Indicates that the OSM or Order-to-Activate documentation provides instructions (and if applicable, the OSM or O2A release contains migration scripts) for updating this version of O2A to work with the version of OSM indicated. The migration scripts will make necessary changes in the cartridges related to:

  • JAR file changes due to Fusion Middleware version updates and OSM server updates
  • Third-party JAR file (such as Saxon JAR file) version updates, as supported by the OSM server version
  • Cartridge model changes to align with OSM core and Design Studio version updates

** Steps to update this version of O2A are not provided out-of-the-box. Contact Oracle for assistance if you would like to use this version of O2A with the version of OSM indicated.

*** O2A version 2.1.1 contains support for the OSM Customer Account Manager. Because this functionality was removed from OSM 7.3.5, solutions based on O2A 2.1.1 cannot be updated to work with OSM 7.3.5 or later. Oracle recommends that you do not use O2A 2.1.1 for new projects.

Note that although you can update earlier O2A versions to work on later versions of OSM, those earlier O2A versions will not take advantage of the new features in the later version of OSM.
