Credential and Entitlement Validation

This table lists and describes steps to take to check credentials and entitlements.

Step	Command	Expected Behavior
Verify credentials identical on HA pair	N/A	The same username and password for both devices in an HA pair.
Verify device entitlement (R226, Admin Security, FIPS 140-3)	setup entitlements	Ensure there are no invalid restricted entitlements causing access issues.
Verify default gateway	show running-config system-config	A valid default-gateway IP should be present.
Verify host route entries	show running-config host-route	Proper route entry exists (or empty if not required)
