MCE Connectivity Test

The following topics assist with initial troubleshooting when connectivity issues occur. They describe the pre-check steps and requirements for installing and configuring the Management Cloud Engine (MCE), validating network, proxy, port, SNMP, and certificate prerequisites before and after activating MCE.

If issues arise upon registering the MCE with the Oracle® Session Delivery Management Cloud (Oracle SDM Cloud), review the following values in the mce.property file.

• MCE Host Name—<host-name>
• Host WAN IP Address—<The interface IP that connects to Oracle SDM Cloud>
• Host LAN IP Address—<The interface IP that connects to devices>
• Oracle SDM Cloud FQDN—<Obtain this from your Oracle Identity and Access Management (IAM) page>
• Oracle SDM Cloud Tenant ID—<Obtain this from your IAM page>
• IDCS Tenant ID—<Obtain this from your IAM page>
• MCE IDCS Client Secret—<Obtain this from your IAM page>
• Oracle SDM Cloud Site ID—<Obtain this from your Oracle SDM Cloud's Device Manager, Sites page.>
• Enable Proxy (y/n)—The default value is n. Set to y if applicable.
• Proxy Server Address—<The proxy server's IP address, if applicable>
• Proxy Server Port—<The proxy server's configured port>
• Trap Receiver Port—Set this to 162.
