Learn about the new features and enhancements to the Oracle Session Delivery Management Cloud.

Release 26A - May 2026 Updates

The following tables describe the new features and enhancements delivered in this Oracle® Session Delivery Management Cloud (Oracle SDM Cloud) release.

New Features

Features Description
Upload Configuration Schema Files Oracle SDM Cloud now allows you to upload device configuration schema (XSD) files directly through the user interface, enabling immediate support for new or updated configuration elements introduced in Network Function (NF) software releases and patches. This eliminates the need to wait for a full Oracle SDM Cloud release to access and manage newly available configuration attributes.

Once an XSD file is uploaded for a specific software version and platform, you can view, edit, and compare configurations using offline and golden configuration workflows. The feature includes built-in validation checks for file type, naming conventions, and platform compatibility, ensuring accurate schema integration while maintaining system integrity.

For more information, see Upload Configuration Schema Files in the User Guide.

Reporting and Analytics Phase 2 of the HDR Reports and Analytics feature introduces enhanced visibility and expanded support to improve monitoring and scalability. A new Analytics Storage Usage Status portlet has been added to the System Health Dashboard, providing real-time insight into Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW) storage usage by comparing consumed and available capacity. This portlet is available to all users with the HDR SKU, regardless of UserAcl settings.

In addition, this release expands support for HDR Groups with the introduction of 16 new groups, increasing flexibility and coverage across supported environments.

For more information, see The System Health Dashboard and SBC/ESBC Version Support for HDR Groups in the User Guide.

KPI Enhancements Enhanced KPI visibility and filtering capabilities have been introduced to improve how users monitor device performance in Oracle SDM Cloud. Users can now easily view KPIs for a selected device through the Device Manager, with a streamlined experience for accessing key operational data. The update also adds support for the show platform KPI, providing deeper insight into platform health and resource utilization across both hardware and software components.

Additionally, KPIs that support filtering now include a flexible Filter option, allowing users to refine displayed data by selecting one or multiple values. This enhancement enables more targeted analysis and faster access to relevant metrics across supported KPIs, improving overall monitoring efficiency.

For more information, see Show KPIs and Supported KPIs in the User Guide.

RAPID User Interface Uplift The Oracle SDM Cloud user interface has been updated to align with a more up-to-date, standardized Oracle framework, improving overall usability and responsiveness.

With this enhancement, users can now take advantage of drag-and-drop functionality when uploading files, as well as improved search capabilities in Configuration Manager, including the ability to search for devices based on connectivity status. Additionally, key management tables now include Created By and Last Updated By columns, offering greater visibility into changes across configurations, route sets, templates, and deployment spreadsheets.

For more information, see the User Guide.

Oracle Linux 9 Support Oracle SDM Cloud now supports Oracle Linux 9, expanding compatibility with the latest Oracle Linux environments and enabling customers to align with current platform standards.

As part of this enhancement, several procedures involved in installing, configuring and upgrading the MCE have been updated.

For more information, see the Getting Started Guide.

Northbound REST API Support Oracle SDM Cloud now provides a REST API interface supporting Device Manager, Config Manager operations, and an audit log download API. This interface allows a northbound client application, such as a network service orchestrator (NSO), to interact with Oracle SDM Cloud and its supported Network Functions.

For more information, see the REST API for Oracle Session Delivery Management Cloud.

Release 25D - October 2025 Updates

The following tables describe the new features and enhancements delivered in this Oracle® Session Delivery Management Cloud (Oracle SDM Cloud) release.

New Features

Features Description
HDR Reporting and Analytics HDR Reporting and Analytics offers a centralized platform for monitoring and managing session delivery by processing Historical Data Records (HDR) from Session Border Controller (SBC) and Enterprise Session Border Controller (ESBC) devices. This feature enables advanced visualization, real-time monitoring of HDR data, and historical trend analysis, allowing users to generate custom and predefined reports with hourly to monthly data granularity. Access is role-based, ensuring users can only view data for devices they are authorized to manage.

For more information, see HDR Reports and Analytics in the User Guide.

Navigate Directly from Connectivity Status and Alarm Portlets Users can navigate directly from the Connectivity Status and Alarms Portlets to related pages, such as Device Manager and Alarms Pages, by clicking on connectivity statuses or alarm severities. This enhances usability by providing pre-filtered search results and click-based navigation, streamlining access to relevant information.

For more information, see Navigate Directly from Connectivity Status and Alarm Portlets in the User Guide.

Override Locked Route Sets Administrators can now view, search, and unlock any locked route sets across the system, regardless of the user or group that initially locked them. This functionality enables efficient management of orphaned route sets, particularly those created by users who are no longer with the organization.

For more information, see Override Locks in the User Guide.
