Authentication

Oracle Communications Unified Assurance offers two forms of authentication:

• HTTP auth (for example, username operator or api)
• TLS client certificate auth (for example User-api.crt and User-api.key)

Authorization

Unified Assurance users are assigned to user groups with associated roles. These roles are assigned permissions which allow access to specific APIs and their methods. We recommend that you use the default api user. If further restrictions are desired however, you can create additional users, groups, and roles.
