The following table lists the supported software for Unified Assurance.

Software Version Notes
Oracle Linux
Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
RHEL 7.9 and higher 7.x updates
Oracle Linux 7.9 and higher 7.x updates
Because support for Linux 7 expires in June 2024, consider using Linux 8.

Operating system prerequisites N/A Unified Assurance requires various components that are installed as part of the base operating system, and a minimal Linux installation has been shown to be missing one or more important applications. Oracle Communications recommends using either a Base or Cloud installation type, depending on the Linux version.

To update your system to a Base installation and verify that all the necessary packages have been installed, run the following command:
yum groupinstall "Base"
Network Time Protocol (NTP) N/A The NTP should be installed and configured on all servers that will be part of an environment. It is essential that all servers have the time synchronized to ensure proper functionality. Consult with your operating system documentation to determine the best NTP strategy for your organization.
DNS N/A Before installing Unified Assurance, all servers must be able to communicate with one another using the Host FQDN entries and Web FQDN entry (or entries) from each server to each server.
Web browsers Google Chrome (latest)
Mozilla Firefox ESR (latest)
Microsoft Edge Chromium (latest)
