Menus
Menus is a standard tree configuration interface for adding, editing, and removing the custom menus that are shown to a user when context-clicking in the Events List. Hierarchies of menus can be created through the establishment of parent and children menus. At the top level of the hierarchy, there is a single Global menu which contains children menus of tools for the Administrator and Operator user groups. Those menus contain additional children menus with other tools that can be useful for those groups. Additional submenus (or children) can be created at any level, thus creating a hierarchical structure.

This user interface calls REST methods from api/event/menus.
The UI path for this interface is Configuration -> Events -> Menus.
Form Fields

Name - The name for the menu.

User Group Name - The user group that will have access to the tools in the menu.

Default Menu - If checked, the selected menu will be the default menu for user groups without a menu that has been created for them.

Tools - The individual tools that will be available in the menu.
Best Practice

The "-- Separator --" tool creates a horizontal line in the Event Menu to visually separate tools.

When creating new User Groups, a new menu should also be created for the group or whichever marked as "Default" will be applied.
