Tip:

You can set the following fields:
-
API Tier: The OpenWeather API tier you are subscribed to. Set to Free by default, which lets you make a maximum of 60 API calls a minute and 1 million API calls a month. The Pro tier includes unlimited calls.
-
API Url: The URL for the OpenWeather current weather data API. Set by default for the Free API tier. If you have a pro OpenWeather subscription, change the URL as appropriate for your subscription.
-
API Key: Your OpenWeather API key.
-
Countries: The list of the countries to get weather data for, with the number cities in each country indicated in parentheses.
The number of cities impacts the number of API calls that will be made. To ensure that you stay within the 1 million per month limit for the free tier, Vision shows a validation error if the combination of number of selected countries and CRON schedule would result in more than 22 calls per minute. In this case, you must adjust either the countries or the CRON schedule. For example, if the CRON schedule runs every 5 minutes, you can select countries with a combined total of 110 cities. With the default CRON schedule, which runs every hour, you can select countries with a combined total of up to 1320 cities.
-
Cron: The CRON expression specifying how often to make the API calls. You can also configure this on the Tasks tab. When you update it on one tab, it is automatically updated the next time you view or refresh the other tab.
