Using the Device Availability Dashboard
You use the Device Availability Dashboard to view all devices in your network with key availability and performance metrics in a single, scannable table. From here, you can quickly assess device health, spot potential issues, and drill down to device-level details for troubleshooting.
The dashboard consists of a single panel, titled Device Details, which is a customizable OpenSearch Dashboards table.
Device Details
This panel shows a table in which each row represents a device. The table includes the following columns:
-
Device Name: The unique device name. This field is a clickable hyperlink that opens the Device Overview Dashboard for that device. See Using the Device Overview Dashboard for more details.
-
IPv4: The IPv4 address assigned to the device.
-
Customer: The customer identifier or name associated with the device.
-
Availability (%): The percentage of time the device has been reachable during the selected time range. Higher values indicate better uptime and reliability.
-
Packet Loss (%): The percentage of packets lost during communication with the device. Elevated packet loss can indicate congestion or connectivity issues.
You can sort the table by Device Name. You can also customize the table by adding additional metadata or metrics columns, or removing columns that are not relevant to your use case.
